With over twenty-two years of experience, Rosemarie has dedicated her life to working with the Latin community in various capacities. As an entrepreneur, she is constantly seeking new ideas and innovative ways to empower and support the
community she serves.

Rosemarie is driven by a deep commitment to success and is always looking for opportunities to grow and excel. Her dedication and determination make her a valuable asset to the community, as she continuously strives to fulfill her goals and achieve success in all her endeavors.

Throughout her journey, Rosemarie has been involved in a diverse range of fields including work, arts, media, solidarity, and business. Dear residents of Ward 5 in Mississauga

I am writing to you today to propose myself as a candidate for the position of Councillor for our beloved city. I am deeply committed to serving our community and believe that my experience, knowledge, and dedication make me an ideal candidate for this role.

Primarily, I am passionate about ensuring the well-being and prosperity of our community. I have actively engaged with residents in Ward 5, listening to their concerns and ideas, and I am committed to representing their voices and advocating for their needs. I believe that effective communication and collaboration are crucial for building a thriving community, and I am eager to work closely with residents, businesses, and organizations to address the issues that matter most to us.

Furthermore, I bring a diverse range of skills and experiences to the table. With a background working globally with communities, I understand the importance of thoughtful development and sustainable growth. I am committed to preserving the unique character of our neighborhood while also supporting initiatives that enhance our quality of life, such as improving infrastructure, promoting green spaces, and fostering economic opportunities.

Proposal

As a candidate for Ward 5 in Mississauga, I am committed to making positive and impactful changes that will enhance the lives of our residents. My proposal focuses on three key areas: community development, infrastructure improvement, and environmental sustainability.

1. Community Development

– Establish in Ward 5 Communities Center: I will work towards the providing recreational facilities, educational programs, and space for community events, affordable and more connected to families and youth, serving as a hub for fostering community engagement and building social connections. “Less cellular phones and more families together”.

2. Infrastructure Improvement:

– Road and Transportation Upgrades: I will prioritize the improvement of roads, sidewalks, and cycling infrastructure to ensure safer and more efficient transportation options for residents. This includes expanding public transportation services and implementing traffic calming measures in residential areas, ensuring seniors and kids are priority.

– Accessible Public Spaces: I will advocate for the development or improving accessible parks, playgrounds, and community spaces to ensure inclusivity and accommodate the needs of all residents, including those with disabilities.

3. Environmental Sustainability:

– Tree Planting and Green Spaces: I will initiate tree planting programs and support the creation of more green spaces in Ward 5 to enhance the natural environment, improve air quality, and provide recreational opportunities for residents.

4. Fostering a conscious plan for a safer community:

It is important to prevent robberies and car theft. Here are a few steps you can consider to achieve this goal in Ward 5, Mississauga:

A) Community Engagement: Encourage community members to actively participate in neighborhood watch programs, community meetings, and events. Building strong relationships and communication among residents can help identify and address security concerns.

B) Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Foster a strong partnership with local law enforcement agencies. Ensure regular communication, share information, and collaborate on crime prevention strategies.

C) Increase Surveillance: Install and maintain CCTV cameras in strategic locations throughout Ward 5. This can act as a deterrent to potential criminals and help in identifying suspects if any incidents occur.

D) Public Awareness Campaigns: Conduct public awareness campaigns to educate residents about safety tips, such as locking car doors, securing valuables, and reporting suspicious activities to the authorities

5) Support Business Expansion:

Plan for Tax Reduction to Small Businesses in Ward 5, Mississauga:

A). Conduct a Tax Assessment: Review the current tax structure for small businesses in Ward 5 to identify areas where tax reductions can be implemented without compromising essential services.

  1. B) Establish Small Business Tax Relief Program: Create a specific tax relief program for small businesses in Ward 5. This program can include a reduction in property taxes or business license fees, based on the size and revenue of the business.
6) Low tax reduction plan increasing a better quality of life:
